    2. Project updates:
      1. Upcoming classes and events: Humanure workshop seemed well-received.
      2. Recruiting:
        • No reply yet from attorney regarding Ron dumping junk tractors here.
        • Jan continuing to correspond with numerous parties, but none are quite ready to make the jump.
        • Rudy has a lead that he will pursue and report back.
      3. EcoNest cottage:
        • Jan continuing to communicate with Robert L.
        • Materials estimate should be coming soon from Windsor.
        • Need to clarify the definition of a "commercial kitchen" that we are allowed to put in an auxiliary farm building.
        • Aux farm building cannot have an indoor shower.
        • Next steps following estimate from Windsor will require funding:
          1. Paula's updated drawing, which is required for
          2. Building permit, and
          3. Rezoning application.
    3. Update on farm steward recruiting:
      • Continuing, with a phone interview later today. Reviewed Michelle S's application. No objections noted to having her here.
    4. Health and safety concerns and updates: none noted
  6. New business:
    1. Discussion on sale of EcoReality property, as agreed on 2 January 2013.
      • The market is very depressed at present. One farm that has been on the market for over a year has cut its price in half.
      • We have some interesting new developments to consider that could result in a better return for shareholders than a quick liquidation.
      • AGREED: to defer decision to sell EcoReality, pending outcome of this season's activities.
  7. Review arrivals/departures, guests and apprentices:
    • Jan gone Thursday, helping Jason move in from Victoria.
    • Jan volunteering at Film Festival all day Saturday
    • Rudy is back from staying with his daughter.
  8. Farm meeting:
    • Japanese Silverberry cuttings are rooting in a tray in the greenhouse. Jan is monitoring root growth before potting.
    • Rudy's German volunteer may want some compensation; Rudy will clarify.
  9. Plans for the week:
    • Jan: prepare a "hot table" in greenhouse for early starts.
    • Jan: continued work on 30-year development plan in preparation for rezoning proposal.
    • Rudy: help with soil blocks and early seeding.
