    1. Project updates:
      1. Electric market vehicle:
        • GM Turbo-hydromatic 400 "slip yoke" received for making a coupler.
      2. Upcoming classes and events:
        • Korean middle school students scheduled for 16 July through 1 August.
      3. Recruiting:
        • Re-financing delayed due to Carol's lien against EcoReality's property as part of her spat with Jan. Services EcoReality have been performing for Carol for free (email, website) have been terminated. Legal advice is there is no grounds for her to involve EcoReality, and EcoReality's legal firm has filed an appropriate response with the court. Re-financing might have to wait until a court date if Carol will not voluntarily drop the lien. Due to this action, EcoReality's mortgage will go up about $400 a month, beginning in August.
        • Tara B., currently at Cranberry Commons visited, emailed list of questions, Jan answered.

  7. Farm meeting:
    • Items to track (rough priority order):
      1. Continue planting:
        • Plant currants along fence in west garden, just north of west gate.
      2. Weed and mulch chestnuts and blueberries in east garden.
      3. Construct beds in greenhouse west room.
      4. Finish cleaning out freezer in farm store -- mouldy fluid needs to be dumped.
      5. Make some "salad boats" out of cut-off portions of seedling trays
      6. Decant pear vinegar DONE! and clean out blue barrel.
      7. Get at least one chain saw working and continue harvesting wood.
      8. Clean up farm store area in prep for construction.
      9. Cleome contact Gavin about putting manure on fields he leases from us. (in process)
      10. Fix sickle bar in prep for spring mowing.
      11. Fix big rototiller -- won't run for more than a minutes or so; investigate fuel blockage -- back burner, winter project.
        • Shop for small diesel for power rototiller.
      12. Investigate using small greenhouse as a food dehydrator.
      13. Fix dining room ceiling.
        • Move dining room stuff into living room.
        • Plastic-wrap dining room in prep for ceiling demolition.
    • Items recently completed:
        • Direct seeding in west garden, carrots, potatoes, summer squash. DONE!
        • Transplant Oregon Spring and Beaverlodge tomatoes and squashes in west garden. DONE!
        • Continue to transplant lettuce in west garden. DONE!
        • Add two wire trellises for cane berry transplants in west garden, between and to the east of existing trellises. DONE!
        • Fix tractor front tyres. DONE!
        • Fix Dodge voltage regulator. DONE!
        • Replace water timer in west room of greenhouse. DONE!
        • Bird netting for silverberries. DONE!
        • Move chickens. DONE!
    • Plans for the week:
      • BC Hydro letter.
      • Make template of VW transmission for fabrication of electric motor adaptor.
      • Continue building raised beds.
      • Plant more lettuce.
