   • East Field discussion

4. Minutes of previous meeting, 2012-02-22, approved unanimously.
5. Old business:
   • Matters arising from old minutes: Nothing
   • To do list - reviewed.
   • Project updates:
     • Necessary changes in involvement in EcoReality - filed with Victoria - received!
     • Goat shed II - roof tarped - looking for plywood for floor.
     • Emergency power - no change - on hold until next fall.
     • Commercial propagation greenhouse - working on tables and internal walls.
     • Yellow house suite - no change
     • Water system maintenance - stable, but leaking
     • Firewood - cut up more slabs - have cut about 1/4 cord already.
     • PDC - still up in the air.
6. New business:
   • Stewards reports due for March 7th AGM.
   • Rescheduled the walk about to this Friday morning.
   • Jan has purchased seed for medicinal herbs. He wants to have it set up in a separate profit centre. We will sell starts and value added.
     • AGREED: to set up a new profit centre for the planting, cultivation, processing, marketing, and sales of medicinal herbs, with Jan as steward. Jan will provide initial funding and planning.
   • Jan met with Gavin. The field needs to be ph tested. Gavin will put on lime and them cow manure.
     • ACTION: Gavin will arrange for ph testing of the big field. (Gavin Johnston)

8. Farm meeting:
   • Seed database has been set up online.
   • Seeds and soil blockers ordered.
   • Walk about in east field on Friday the 24th for garden layout planning.
9. Plans for next week:
   • Film Festival this weekend!
   • Continue work on commercial greenhouse (Jan/Charles)
10. Confirm next meeting:
    • The AGM is also part of next weeks meeting.
