Tuesday, 21 July 2009, Residents' Meeting

Present: Jan Steinman, Carol Wagner, Shannon Cowan, Morris Lamrock, Dennis Lucarelli, Shirley Steinman & Gretchen Contreras

  • Meeting called to order: 09:35 am
  • All Check-in
  • Agenda read out loud and approved.
  • Jul 13 Rez meeting minutes approved
    • Dennis presented his thoughts on contributions of time by non-member residents.
      • Brendan sees it as a non-issue for himself.
      • Shannon is working on a policy for garden labour offset on costs of food taken from the garden.
      • ACTION: [x] Dennis wants to see a minimum number of hours and will write up a proposal with a request for minimum number of hours and ideas for tasks to get involved and labour guidelines. (Dennis Lucarelli)
    • Shannon requests that timesheets with hours for the SFU event be turned in that event can be closed.
    • Compost Communication - when?
      • Jan suggests that 1 hour be scheduled and that time can be added as needed.
      • AGREED: Until further notice, compost communication meetings will be scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
    • AGREED: Resident and Farm meeting have been moved to Tuesday mornings, 9:30 and 10:30 respectfully.
    • Arrival/Departures:
      • Susie Anne is going to the Yukon on the 21st for 1 week.
      • Shannon away from 23rd to 29th.
      • Dennis has a friend, Marvin, coming on 30 Jul through 4 Aug.
      • Shannon & Sienna will be gone from 5 - 11 Aug.
      • Vincent & Deb will be visiting from 5 - 7 Aug.
      • Jason Sneed is expected to leave 22 Jul.
      • Wwoofer Seamus expected to arrive 7 Aug.
  • Next meeting confirmed for July 28th. facilitator Jan, recorder is Carol.
