Usage

This page supplies the sidebar links that show up to the left of the main text area.

• it is in the form of a two-level outline.
• the first level makes the labeled inset boxes that appear on the left
  • this is just a label that appears above the inset box, like entry points or help
    • The "search" and "toolbox" inset boxes are supplied by MediaWiki, and cannot be changed here.
• the second level has the contents of those inset boxes, in the form of a page and a label
  • page is the name of a wiki page that you go to when the label text is clicked
  • page can also be a non-wiki URL
  • label is just the text that will show up on the page

Unfortunately you cannot use any sort of formatting in the sidebar. There is a lot more info at Meta:Sidebar.

Also, the email that goes out with a password reminder refers to sidebar content, so if you make significant changes, please check MediaWiki:Passwordremindertext to make sure it is still accurate.
