Ecoreality Farm Plan Categories

This is a brainstorm initiated by Shannon Cowan January 12, 2009.

Goal: To prepare a centralized system where EcoReality members can see what areas of the farm are managed, and what practices we've agreed to do in those areas. It includes all "agroecosystems", not the built systems (eg. outbuildings, homes, kitchens, etc).

It is also designed to allow for easy creation of a Schedule (ie. Gantt Chart or other) that will allow any person who needs information about agroecosytems at EcoReality to see what grows here, what activities are planned and when in all natural areas of the farm.

What: here is a list of categories (seven called A-G) organized by zone of the farm (labeled by capital letters). This may become a linked series of spreadsheets – each sheet to chart the needs for a given area of operations within each of the given zones, over periods of time (e.g. weekly for year at at glance).
